Common printing process for Paper Cover:

1. Relief printing

Relief printing is to press the printed matter to make it similar to the original manuscript, and the general production objects are oil paintings and the like. After the printing is completed, attach an adhesive film to the printed matter, and then press the pre-made plate (that is, the concave-convex plate obtained from the original painting through photographic plate-making) on the printed matter to make it the same as the original painting. Beautiful replica.

2. Hot stamping and silver foil method.

The golden font or pattern that is often seen on the cover of the book or on the wooden or plastic surface, etc., is expressed by making the required bronzing pattern or text into an E-type plate and heating it, and then placing aluminum foil of the required color on the printed matter Paper, after pressurized, its aluminum foil will fall on the printed matter, which is very effective, and at the same time, its aluminum foil will be closely attached to the printed matter, and it will never fade.

3. Magnetic printing

Magnetic printing is mostly used in checks of securities to avoid counterfeiting. Magnetic printing is called MICR. Its main printing purpose is numbers and symbols such as 0-9, and the numbers or symbols are printed under the check with magnet powder mixed into the ink.

4. Bump embossing

Use the pressure method to make the paper embossed, of course, this is the feeling produced by using the elastic function of the paper. Concave and convex models are necessary. The general method is to place the convex model on the table and fix it, and then heat it slightly. Press the concave model from top to bottom, and the paper will have a concave-convex shape.

5. Embossed printing (embossed powder printing)

After ordinary printed matter is printed, use resin powder (such as rosin powder currently used in Hong Kong) to spread on the wet ink, then the powder will melt in the ink, and then heated to make the printed part bulge. The powders used in floating printing are bright, matte, gold, silver, fluorescent colors and so on.
